SOL Santa Cruz is proud to offer one-on-one Pilates training, which teaches body awareness, good posture and core strength. Gentle yet challenging, pilates helps create balanced, whole-body strength. By focusing on building strength and stability throughout the “core” (deep abdominal muscles, trunk, pelvic, and shoulder girdle), Pilates can help you:
- Remain active while recovering from injury
- Gain long, lean muscles
- Become more flexible
- Manage and overcome chronic back pain
- Re-train your body to move more efficiently
Each session is lead by our certified instructor, Shari Scrunton and will incorporate both mat and reformer based exercises. Shari takes an integrative approach to training and is a BASI-certified Pilates instructor as well as an ACE-certified Personal Trainer. Whether you’re a 32 year-old stockbroker who surfs or a nine-year-old soccer player, Shari enjoys focusing on customized fitness!
Pilates at SOL Santa Cruz is available for $80 per session or $750 for 10 sessions.
